Xylon sighed as he heard the explosion and felt it's vibration. "Hurry, we don't have much time. Let's just do it here." He stalked over to the bed, and sat on it. "It'll be snappy, yes?"
Icy
Icy heard the explosion in the distance. "What was that?"
Curious, he headed towards it. After a while, he realized that this is the way to the Echo's base. He wasn't a coward, he was going there.

She blinked, noticing that Nori was still following her. Doesn't this guy have anything else to do...?She stopped in her tracks, and glanced back at the soldier. "Why are you still following me? You are dismissed..." she said, her tone of voice clearly annoyed. She started to walk foward again, her hands tufted back into her pockets. |

Mele sighed, seeing there was no point in arguing with Xylon."I don't have the right equipment for this, but fine," said Mele.She knelt before Xylon and took a knife out of her pocket, sawing through the arrow.The arrow cut cleanly and she took the end, tossing it to the side before putting the knife down before taking off her shirt, revealing the white tank top under it.She tossed her shirt onto Xylon's lap."You'll need that to bandage it for now," she said, holding the arrow in one hand.
Nori
Nori stopped and dipped his head."Yes, of course, Hikiro.I just figured you'd like some company," he said.Nori turned away, the pendant shifting on the chain as he walked off in the opposite direction.If he saw Icy, he'd ask the Beta if he could borrow his key card to get into his room.Nori wasn't tired, but he needed time to think. |

A small sigh escaped from her parted lips, and she shook her head from side to side slowly. It seems as if the current soldiers were getting more and more naive...She brushed that thought out of her mind, and started to walk foward again. It was night now, and she was already feeling tired. It would be reasonable to get some rest for tomorrow. The Echo's could attack at any time, and she would have to be ready for it. She stopped in front of her own room, and waved her key card over it. Another moment passed, and a small clicking sound emitted into the air. A small huff came from her mouth, and she walked in, the door closing behind her. |

"...Thank you, Mele." he chuckled, a rarity for him. He bandaged his arm went out of Mele's room and walked to his room. He laid on his bed as he recovered; usually he doesn't get injured, but Icy was different. They were related, and that means same teacher for training. He thought about Icy's weakness, and smirked evilly.
Icy
He made sure he was silent, hiding behind as many things as possible. He thought about that tall tree...Maybe he could climb it and aim for the damned Alpha or Beta...

Mele noticed she was blushing as Xylon left the room.She knelt down and began to clean up the floor, tossing the arrow away.She looked at her dresser, the box of spheres.The explosion felt so real.What is Disparity planning? she wondered as she cleaned up.Mele flopped onto her bed, still in her tank top and a pair of jean Capri pants.Her hair seemed to fall in every direction around her head.She sighed softly and rolled over so she was on her side, looking at the notebook.She began to write something and crossed it out.
She wondered if Xylon had seen her fears, he was good at that.She knew he couldn't see Disparity's, so were her's obvious in comparison?Mele sighed and closed the notebook, realizing she was psyching herself out.She couldn't help but sneeze as the scent of Xylon's blood till lingered for a moment.She realized it was on the palm of her hand as well as the pen.Standing up, she took the pen into the bathroom and rinsed it off before washing her hands.For a good measure, she splashed her face.His chuckle echoed in her mind for another moment.
Mele examined her reflection in the mirror and turned away.She was nothing but a healer, and Xylon was older than her.Though, there was something about him.She pushed the thoughts away.No, this wouldn't be a cheesy romance like in a soap opera or a trashy romance novel.She walked back to her bed and sat down on it, holding the pen.She lost the desire to write so she set the pen down. |

He had trouble trying to climb the tree, but he managed. He balanced the arrow on the string of the bow. It made a faint stretching noise. He can't just let Xylon or the Alpha get away, especially when Xylon learned of his weakness.

Xylon quickly got off of the bed, and rushed to Disparity's room. "Disparity!" he called.

Disparity summoned his wings and opened the door."Is it something important or did you come to argue with me about something stupid, Felis Domesticus?" he asked.Disparity knew that Xylon had something important to say, he wouldn't come otherwise.He just loved to mess with the Beta.Disparity of course, would not admit to enjoying that. |

Xylon growled, his usually calm face twisting in irritation, "Yes, and it's how to get rid of that damned Beta. Think about it: If the Beta continues all of these sneak attacks, then we won't be able to reach the Alpha before they make their next move. He's really hindering us, and I'd like to kill him and the Alpha as soon as possible, and win the war. Like you. I know his fear, and when I get closer to the Screen Alpha, I'll know her fear." He crossed his arms silently.
Icy
Icy smirked as he got ready, then his foot slipped and he let go of the arrow to catch himself on a branch. "Whoo, that was close..." He noticed that he blew his cover, "Aww, dammit."

A small sigh escaped from her parted lips, and she took a moment to facepalm herself. It seems as if the Beta, Icy, had tried another sneak attack. And, it seems as if it had failed yet again. Why does he keep trying this? He's just going to keep failing...She had been watching the scene from her large window, her eyes narrowing to see it. The Beta had blown his cover, and was now hanging from the limb of a tree. Icy was strong, but to go against the Alpha and the Beta of Echo was not a good idea. Guess I have to help now...Small threads started to appear around herself, a blue flash emitting from them. Within another moment, she was at Icy's side. "You really can't do these sneak attacks, can you mongrel?" she hissed at the Beta. |

Mele had heard the tree rustling.She looked out her window, sticking her head and upper torso out of it.She saw Icy and debated on helping him.Her white hair was blown in different directions as she stood there, halfway out the window.Her blue eyes shone with concern, but there was nothing to do.She slid back into her room.
Mele, being the lovely klutz she was, tripped and rolled over the bed backwards and landed on her butt on the other side of the bed.She rubbed the back of her head and blushed to herself as she stood up, pulling her tank top down.She casually flipped her hair back over her shoulder and sighed, stretching.She was utterly bored now, nothing to do.
Disparity
"And what, pray tell, do you plan on doing, Felis Domesticus?" asked Disparity.He wondered if Xylon had caught on to the meaning of the Latin nickname.It was not a big deal to him if the Beta found it out.Even if the Beta found out his fear, Xylon could not win with that.Disparity would not deny anything, the facts were obvious and he had seen everything himself.No, there was no way fear could win in a battle with Disparity. |

Xylon snarled, "I'm no damned cat." He glared at Disparity with a murderous intent in his eyes, but of course, he wouldn't try to kill Disparity...well, except HURT him....and show him a middle finger or two...He sighed, trying to calm down.
"Let me explain," he started, "The beta is pulling off all of these attacks as far as injuring me, to buy the Alpha some time for an attack at us!"
Icy
What...the...hell? That girl just left him here, dangling for his LIFE on this tree, and she doesn't help? Icy slightly baffled by this, sighed irritably. He grunted as he tried to get back on the tree branch as quietly as a person trying to climb a tree could. He looked down and saw the arrow he dropped onto the ground. "Shoot." He'll have to climb all the way down there just to get the arrow and climb back up quickly and quietly. What a pain...

Mele thought about reporting to her officers, and decided that was the best bet.She took her key card and ran to her door, throwing it open and running down the hall.Mele, still an idiot, ran to the stairs.Her door clicked shut behind her.She ran up two flights of stairs.She tripped up the last two stairs and landed on her stomach, her key card slidding down the hallway of the ninth floor.She wasn't the sharpest but she was able to sit up, rubbing her arm.
Disparity
"And so you wish to get rid of him or use him to get close to the Alpha?" asked Disparity, ignoring the outburst."Tell me your plan here, fool."His tone was calm yet it seemed to hold a cold hint.Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the key card skid across the floor.He didn't show he noticed it, but he was busy trying to figure out how smart Xylon really was. |

"Kill him. It'd be a accomplishment for me and you. They'll have a lower defense and we'll have a advantage." He sighed. He heard a faint thud and knew who it was. What was she thinking...?
"Disparity, I just know that they'll attack sooner or later."
Icy
He climbed down the tree, and grabbed the arrow. He then thought again...the girl...didn't look like a fighter...Oh well, he's going to kill the Alpha and the Beta...but in a different location. He looked around to find another tall tree that could be parallel to the ninth floor...Maybe if he walked around...Whistling low, he started his journey around the Echo building.

Mele stood up and retrieved her key card before answering."Sirs, I saw a male outside in the tree.I figured I should report that since he could be an enemy," said Mele.She tilted her head, suddenly afraid of both males.She hid her fear the best she could, be she knew that Xylon would see it in her.At the same time, she knew it was her duty. |
