"Alright." He murmured, "Just be safe," He didn't want someone to hurt her, or ambush her. He wasn't comfortable about leaving her alone to walk around after Nori's surprise attack, but he was so tired.

"I will," Mele told Xylon.She let go of him and walked out of the room.She ran down the stairs and headed out the door.She didn't know exactly where she was going, but she just needed to go for a walk and clear her mind.Mele began to walk casually, heading in no particular direction.She didn't expect anything to happen to her, but it was that innocent naivety that could get her killed. |

He knew that he shouldn't do this, he knew that he should be going to the lake with his wife, but these dark times require him to have his attention. He would love to stay with Lupa, oh, any time, but he didn't want this opportunity to pass. He went outside and headed for the Echo base, hoping that he'll encounter this Healer that his brother loved oh so much. He smiled inwardly almost evilly as he thought about his plan, he'll just have to wait until she's far enough from the base so that Xylon or the Alpha won't hear her scream.

Mele felt as though she was a good distance from the base.She continued to walk, skipping slightly with each step.She wasn't on alert, though she probably should have been more careful.She stumbled as she tripped over her own feet.Mele stood still at the corner of a random street, unable to read the sign.She just stood there, alone. |

Mele felt someone grab her.She struggled to break free of the grip.It didn't dawn on her to scream out for help.Then again, who would hear her?It was the middle of the night.She also wondered who would truly care.She couldn't put her hand on her pendant and summon Sivain."Let..me..go!" she cried out. |

"Shouldn't have gone out in the middle of the night aimlessly, girl." he murmured. It's almost difficult to say that he wasn't related to Xylon because of the similar facial structures, and shape of the eyes. He glared, "I hear that you're with Echo. Tell me, what do they plan against us?" Of course she wasn't going tell him, but maybe this girl was a airhead, and would spill everything. Plus...this girl seemed different, he can sense it.
His grip tightened--harshly--so that she won't get away.

"Oh, I'm sure Xylon's gonna come after me. He's been after me since I existed." He started to walk toward the Screen base, and then after a while, he talked again, "I'm married just so you know. I'm no creep." He tugged her harshly, he didn't mind the pain she was causing, looking in front of him.
Ahhh, if only Lupa was here with him, maybe this girl and Lupa would've gotten along...and made this a whole lot easier.
"I should kill him now, since he's weakened." He smirked almost cruelly at her when he looked back.

"You're a creep no matter if you're married or not.Kidnapping a 16 year old girl, it's unethical!" Mele snapped.Her eyes flashed with her fear at the mention of Xylon being weak."You're a coward," said Mele.She couldn't help but laugh."A mere coward is all you and the other Screens are," she stated.
Disparity
Disparity felt that there was something off.He began to head downstairs, not sure what he'd find.Then, he stopped himself on the seventh floor.He didn't want to bother Xylon if the Beta was sleeping.However, he had to make sure everything was okay.Disparity continued downstairs and walked into the infirmary.
Disparity entered the second room, only seeing Xylon."Xylon, not to bother you, but where's Mele?" he asked.Disparity's voice did not betray his concern, but his eyes probably said otherwise. |

"Keep in mind it's I who shot the arrow and injured Lon. He's just weak when it comes to something he's not used to. Hell," Icy laughed, "he couldn't even get close to me!" During their little conversation, Icy grabbed his key card with his free hand and swiped it so that they can enter the building. "Nori's the one that injured Lon in order to get to ya. How can we, the Screens, be cowards?" He sighed, and after a moment, he spoke again, serious and more sad. "I tried to persuade Lon to defect to our side when I encountered him, but he was fiercely loyal to his Alpha. It's not like that I want to kill him or anything, I just want to stop this stupid, senseless war." He smirked, all seriousness vanished in a second, "Plus, there's something off with ya."
Xylon
"Mele told me that she went out for a walk. She didn't tell me where though..." he responded, eyeing Disparity, "Is there something wrong?" He wanted to get out of the bed, but he was still lethargic and he wouldn't be any use in battle at this point. He was worried since Disparity came back down here. Did something happen to Mele? Disparity wouldn't come down here for no reason, Xylon knew.

"Ahh, so you're the one who shot Xylon's arm and hit my side with an arrow.Now we're getting somewhere," she muttered.She tried to dig her heels into the floor but she only stumbled forward."And what do you mean 'off'?Besides the fact I'm a summoner?"She rolled her eyes.Nonsense.Are all Screens going to be this crazy? Mele wondered.

"It could be nothing, but something just doesn't feel right to me," said Disparity.He looked at Xylon for a moment then turned away."Go back to resting, I'll try and find her," he told the Beta.Disparity began to leave the room. |

"I guess I'm the only archer in Screen, and off as in...one of my kind off. Altered humans are kind of difficult to spot unless you've been with them most of your life...you are harder to confirm though." He stopped suddenly, placing a finger on his chin and thinking rapidly. "Maybe if I do some tests and take a sample of your DNA, I'm sure I'll get the results within twenty minutes. Maybe...maybe...maybe you were a human slowly transforming into a altered. ...Ahh, that could explain your physical attractiveness being slightly more enhanced than a average human but not as enhanced as a laboratory altered would like Lupa, Lon, or me." He continued aloud, speaking his exact thoughts but he shrugged, dropping his hand and continuing on his original path. "Maybe I'll just have Nori look after you while I get my stuff ready."
Hopefully he'll encounter Nori along the way.
Xylon
Something...doesn't feel right to Disparity? "Wait," he said, slowly getting off of the bed, "I...I want to come." His palm had a thin, red line and the pain there was nonexistent like a small papercut, and his right eye was dead; unseeing, but despite all of these injuries, he needed to confirm one thing: Is Mele okay?

"Don't I get a say in this?" snapped Mele.Her blue eyes betrayed her rage and her slight fear.She was no test subject, and she wouldn't allow them to treat her like one."You got her?" asked a familiar voice.Mele looked past Icy to see Nori standing there.He looked slightly stunned to see Mele in the Screen's base.
Mele couldn't contain her rage."You!Damn you.When I get my hands on you!" she snapped, trying to break free from Icy's grip.She was failing at it, but she wanted to kill Nori.
Disparity
Disparity stopped in his tracks."I understand you want to come, Xylon," he said."However, we don't need you to die.Let me go alone, it'll put Mele's mind at rest when I find her.You know how she can get.If you stay here, you'll end up being a lot safer."Disparity was being honest, he knew that Mele would break down if Xylon had disobeyed her.She had wanted him to stay put. |
