Circe.
"Our race is hard to come by. Most don't survive the transformation that brings them back as vampiric beings. On top of that, majority of them go insane with lust for blood and have to be brought down. Others just go insane knowing that they can't love anyone outside our own race. Some go to cannibalism for authority, which lasts for years on end until they find no one else to challenge or are killed themselves," said Circe.

Alex flinched at the word 'cannibalism', and looked away. He had so many images of blood on his hands, mouth and teeth. He had so many images of little children's bones and his own race's bones. He knew that he didn't enjoy it, but Alec did. "...I see," he said lowly.

Circe.
"Are you okay? You flinched. I'm sorry," said Circe. She seemed to be very sorry, though she did not know of the memories she stirred.
Violet and Romeo.
"Another failure!" said Violet. She had tossed the now bleeding rabbit at Romeo. For a blind girl, she had good aim. Romeo caught it and after a few moments, devoured it. Violet stood and paced in her room, clearly upset.

Alex looked up at her, and smiled sadly. "I'm fine to a point." he said truthfully. "I don't know if I want to tell you, but I'm okay..." He looked at the Bible and stroked it gently.
Jade had heard Violet's outburst and stopped in front of her room. Jade entered it and sighed, crossing her arms. "Are you alright, Violet?" she asked. Sasori was behind her loyally, her hands folded in front of her.

Violet.
"No," said Violet, looking towards her sister's voice. "I need a puppet besides Romeo. Something simple, something with a small, one-track mind."
Circe.
"You really loved her, didn't you? With everything you had," said Circe.

"Does it need to be a animal?" she asked, looking at her sister in slight curiosity.
Alex had a sad smile on his face, and a sparkle in his ruby eyes. "Yes," he answered. "I loved Relinia with everything I had, but that wasn't enough. She was pinned between a tree and a truck when she was going to the store to buy milk for our children, the driver was already gone. The medics said that they could move her to our room, this room. They had to put a lot of pressure on the wound or else she would bleed to death instantly."
He sighed as he continued to stroke the Bible. "She said that she had a birthday present for me. She said that she wanted to help me in the future. While she laid in bed, she gave me this Bible. I told her not to leave, I begged her..."
He could remember his heartbroken cry of "Relinia!" as she died slowly. "We were holding hands. Later on, at midnight she died with a tear running down her face. I cried and mourned for months. I almost killed myself until I opened the Bible and now I live by it. It's the last thing I received from her."

Circe.
"I'm so sorry," said Circe. "I could never imagine what that feels like."
Violet.
"No. As long as it's mind is easy to control, this experiment should work with only minor injuries," said Violet.

Alexander sighed, "You don't need to say sorry. It's a little easier talking to someone about Relinia's death. It's a little easier for me now." he said sadly. "It's not whether you can imagine it or not. Just hope that you won't experience it."
"I see," she said. She thought about the four people she had seen at the beach, and sighed. Maybe she'll wait a little longer until she will suggest them. In the mean time, "I'm going to search for simple minded people." she said. "I don't want you frustrated."

Violet.
"No, it's fine," said Violet. "Please, don't worry about it right now. I'll keep quiet."
Circe.
Circe just walked over and sat beside him on the side the Bible didn't occupy. She hugged him. "Is it really easier?" she asked, looking up at him.

Jade sighed as she turned around, "I'm doing so anyways." she said. "This house is barren and in need of more puppets. I'm sure that Sasori will need someone else to talk to." Sasori did nothing, nor did she say nothing. She just bowed her head.
Alexander looked away from her, "No," he said, his voice slightly choking in his throat. "I don't like to worry people though." He didn't return the hug, and faintly he was shaking. He didn't want to cry, especially when talking about Relinia's death.

Circe.
"If you wish to cry, you may do so," said Circe. "Holding it in isn't healthy."
Violet.
"Very well, do as you wish," said Violet.

Alex shook his head. "I know it isn't healthy, but I don't want to cry." He let a couple of tears fall freely before wiping them away. They continued to come, and after a while he gave up on wiping the tears a way. Tears fell onto the Bible that was now on his lap with a dull plip. "I don't wish to cry."
Jade walked out of her room and began to think about what she should do. She decided to go outside again, since it stopped raining.

Circe just wiped the tears off the Bible lightly. She had stopped hugging him. "It's okay," she told him softly. "You needed to cry, whether you wanted to or not."

Alex wiped the tears from his eyes again, though his shoulders still shook as he continued to cry. "I-I suppose so..." he muttered. "Perhaps you're right."

Circe.
"Are you afraid to cry?" asked Circe. She wasn't mocking him, just curious.
