Dark Times {1x1 with Icecreamfreak}

He smiled and motioned toward the path. "That they are. Lets go home."


Andrew looked at the girl in his arms. "Lunatic?" It took him a minute, but it clicked in his head. "Oh, yeah."


Blitz removed the gauntlet, and handed it to Gwendolyn. "I'd like you to wear that. I don't trust me to be in control of myself." She grabbed the gauntlet, and looked at her arm. "I believe you about not being in control of yourself, but I don't think this will fit me." He chuckled. "Go ahead and put it on, you'll see." She did as he told, and slid her arm into the oversized armor. The sapphires glowed, and the metal rearranged itself to be a form fitting sleeve that ran all the way up her arm. "Well, that works."

He followed her back onto the path, and looked toward the village. "Hurry, now! they'll close the gates soon."


"And lots of people would agree with you," He shot back. "Lots and lots of people." Meanwhile, Gerbera was looking at Phoenix and Alex. Interesting duo. I wonder who's in that other sword.


"Thank you, Blitz." He nodded, and caught up with the rest of the group.

Lawrence laughed at her reaction. He jogged to catch up to her. "Whoa there, I'm a big guy, running isn't my friend! Let's slow down."


A smile broke out from Andrew's face again. "Oh, and Doctor. You can take me to that friend of yours, the psycho analyst one. I'd like to know if i'm crazy or not." Gerbera walked up beside Alex and Phoenix. "Well, I have a lot of questions about you two, I'm sure the others do as well. But one thing stands out to me. I see two of you, but I feel three."


She caught up with the group and joined the doctor's conversation. "I think taking him to a shrink will give us interesting results."

"Oh, don't worry about it. I just need to lose a little weight." He gave his stomach a pat. "I've gained a few unneeded pounds over the years."


Gerbera looked at Phoenix. "If i'm being a bother, please tell me. I'll leave you alone." Andrew watched as the top of the sun dipped below the horizon, and stopped. "Maybe it's time to stop and sleep."


"It's a less-than-nice term for doctors that deal with mental health," she said to Zion.

"Oh? Your father was a blacksmith? Interesting."


Gerbera nodded. "Well then, my next question is for you, Phoenix. You can catch fire and heat up to a considerable temperature, i know, but is that it?" Andrew sat Zion on the ground, and sat beside her. "Today has been pretty long."


Gwendolyn yawned, and looked at her armor-clad arm again. She looked around, and went over to Blitz. "How exactly do I use this thing?"

"My dad really liked to help people. especially kids. He was like a second dad to everyone in town."


Andrew looked at Zion. "Extra baggage. That makes me feel great." Gerbera grinned. "I wouldn't call that a fight. Andrew didn't have time to prepare, and neither did I." He held up his palm, and formed a little ball of back in it. "And we have a commonpoint. Darkness. Kind of my specialty."


After a brief discussion, she could control the sparks that flew between the gems. She went over and sat down beside Ninetales, glancing at his book.
