Nero started off towards his house, shoving his hands in his jacket pockets.

Lockon sat down at his kitchen table, a bowl of cereal in his hands. He thought about the guy in the park.

"Sure, if you don't mind." he said. "I wouldn't force you to tell me if it's too personal." He looked at Alex again before looking at Sivain. He was patient.

"No, no... it's just that my father never really told me about why dragons hate people that's half of their kind. Father said that he had two children that's half-dragon. One died about a hundred years ago. Anastasia..." He hummed, "He said the other died a year ago, Alex. He gave me all the details of Anastasia but not Alex."

"No, I don't mind. There isn't much to tell though. She didn't live very long. Her name was Isanne, taking on the Germanic version, meaning 'Ice'. She was born in the winter and all," said Sivain. She smiled slightly, remembering that girl. "She was so beautiful, and I always considered her a blessing. I usually would fail to conceive or lose the child in the first month or so. Isanne was my world, she was my happiness. But, like all good things it wasn't destined to last."
Sivain sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, before opening them once more. "When she was two years old, she had managed to get outside, possibly through the dog door. It was the middle of the night. Isanne slipped into the pond and ended up drowning to death. We didn't find her until the next morning." The whole time she told the story, she watched Alex calmly.
"Geena," said the girl. "Geena is fine."
"Wonder why," said Kione.

"I see," he said. He looked at Alex's dead body. He wished that there was a way to bring him back, not as a nonliving thing though, like Ash. He looked at the feathers, missing how they would constantly shift colors. "It's hard to lose someone you care for, even for a short time. I can imagine your pain, or maybe I felt it when my sister was executed... either way, I can relate to you."

"I wonder why too..." he said truthfully, "That's one reason why I left my household."
Cao Yuan
Cao Yuan put his sketchbook away and he looked at the park one last time before heading home.

"To find answers?" asked Kione.
Geena said nothing, keeping an even pace for 'Fang'.

Ash stood silent, not answering that. He knew that he could just say yes or no but he didn't want to. He sighed and looked at the violin. "That's a good violin. So when are the other two supposed to come?" he said, dodging the question.

"Where do you come from?" asked Geena.
"It not that much of a surprise. There was no real medical equipment so children were expected to die and such," said Sivain. "I was the youngest though."
"Geena left in a rush saying something happened, so she'll be back soon and Sivain, I don't know," said Kione.
