Gaia slowed down, stepping onto the stone streets of the town. He knelt down, letting Renea and Nero off. Nero jumped down, and brushed off his coat. "It's fine. Just a subject I have a strong opinion on."

"Who said i'm- nevermind. What do we need to do now?" He looked around the town. A few people were wandering down the streets, hiding from the trio when they were seen.

"There seem to be plenty of abandoned houses around," Nero said. "Or we could stay in a fancy hotel," Gaia said, pointing to a building down the street.

"Abandoned house it is." Nero went to the first empty house he saw, checked to make sure it was empty, and walked in.

Renea followed Nero. She wandered into one of the bedrooms, happy to find a mirror.

Gaia walked in, having to bend down to avoid the ceiling. Nero sat his bag on the ground and laid on a couch. "This works."

When Renea was done changing, she curled up on the bed with no blankets. She wasn't tired, but she wanted to lay down.

"Renea," Nero called into the next room, "Wake me up if anything happens." He drifted off to sleep, quietly snoring. Gaia sat in a corner, keeping his eye on the front door.
