How do I change my avatar, signature, and so on?
The way to change these is rather simple. On the top of your screen, beneath the site title, is a bar with many labels.
The label you'll need is the one that says 'Profile'. This'll take you to your profile page. You will want the 'Modify Profile' tab. There, you will have all the information you need.
Avatars will be resized if they are larger than 100 by 100 pixels. You can only use the url, or link, for the avatar. If you don't have that, save it on Tinypic.com or Photobucket.com.
How do I become an Administrator, Global Moderator, Moderator, or any other kind of staff?
It is very rare for us to hold staffing session, for both my partner, IceCreamFreak, and myself, Trick, must both agree on a day to open and close the applications.
Yes, you'd have to apply. It's mainly situations like 'If there was a spammer, what would you do?' and other material like that. However, we also take a look at activity and such on the site as well. If you aren't active without an excuse, we will not hire you. We also will not hire a person if they have spammed or received numerous warnings from other staff members.
As for positions, there will only be one Administrator and one Global Moderator. No one else will ever get these positions unless the site is sold off for real world currency, which will not happen any time in the near future.
What is an Inactivity Clearing?
An Inactivity Clearing is when I, Trick, have decided that members have been letting the site die out. This phrase refers to clearing out the inactive users of the site.
An e-mail goes out a week to two weeks in advance, as many people have been warned within the invitation to join this site. That does not mean put off being active until the last day and posting on a bunch of things. You must be active at least five to six times a week to be safe. If you are active two to three times a week, you are on the borderline. Any less that that without a valid excuse will result in the deletion of your account.
Can I invite other people to join this site?
I have been asked numerous times about this. My answer is
No. I cannot stress this answer enough.
Only IceCreamFreak and I may invite. This is only because we are both artists and it is easier for us to keep track of people in case art theft were to occur. It makes our jobs easier and our artwork is kept safe. We hate art theft and it is a big thing we will not tolerate.
Why do we need a Character Section?
As I mentioned in the 'About' topic in the Characters section, it is to help people keep their permanent characters organized. These are copyrighted characters to their original owners and more that 90% of the time, the names are unique and have a special meaning to the owners.
