"I may be a vampire, but I'm no murderer," said Circe. "It'd be different if you had your own body, but Alex has done nothing wrong." She continued to stroke Sylver's hair. "I can't take an innocent life."
Sachiel.
"I would," said Sachiel in a sing-song voice. She seemed to be in a rather good mood.

Sanguine Icy Wolff, Alec, Alex Oris Simmons, Sylver Simmons, and Gonzales
"Oh how noble of you," Alec sneered, "Noble people like that should just die since they are too soft to kill the enemy that is possessing a friend! You'll die because of--"
His voice was cut off when he gasped, his eyes swtching to red. Gonzales, although overjoyed, was screaming from fear. "ALEX!"
Alex's eyes were blank although he did look up to Gonzales numbly and slowly, seeming deaf and blind. Gonzales released the vines and slapped Alex's cheek lightly. "Hey, stay awake! Circe, keep him awake while I wake up the doctor, his mind is almost completely shattered, and it can break at any moment!"
Fast, Gonzales ran to the doctor's room and tried frantically to wake up Ninetales. Sylver looked at his father, then at Circe, completely lost.
Sanguine stared at her, shocked, then tucked a lock of hair behind his ear, and smiled looking away, laughing. |

Circe.
"Alex, I need you to stay awake!" she told him. Circe's heart was beating quickly with her fear. The young girl was hoping something could be done. She hoped with all her heart it would all be okay. Her eyes focused on Alex.
Sachiel.
"Wonder if it'd be safer for you if we walked in the street," said Sachiel.

Alex Oris Simmons, Gonzales, Ninetales Foxx, Sylver Simmons and Sanguine Icy Wolff
Alex made a soft whine and tried to speak but he couldn't. His long nails dug into his palms--he couln't feel that it was, and the black nails went through the skin, blood coating it and his palm. "I..." it seemed like he was mouthing, "I..." His eyes were half-closed.
Sylver held his hands up for Circe to carry him, "Mommy..."
Gonzales ran indide again,'panting. Following in persuit was Ninetales. He had a needle in his hand. He quickly made it over to Alex and injected the contents in Alex's neck. A more lively look returned to Alex's features, but he passed out, leaned against Ninetales. Ninetales looked at Alex and whispered as Alex's body relaxed, "What happened so that Alec would take over?" He looked back at Gonzales, "Good thing that we were prepared this time!"
Gonzales nodded. "Yeah, I would hate last time's repeat..."
Sanguine smiled, "It might be if there are no police or cars..." |

Circe and Alice.
Circe picked up Sylver and put him on her lap. As soon as she was distracted, Alice broke free. Though, Circe was already a step ahead of her. The darkness bound Alice's neck. "Leave, Alice, you're not wanted here," said Circe. Alice glared at her but left anyway, the collar vanishing as the evil woman fled. "Perhaps I should have killed her," Circe said, holding Sylver to her chest.
Sachiel.
"It's illegal to walk in the street?" asked Sachiel, shocked.

Gonzales, Ninetales Foxx, Sylver Simmons, Sanguine Icy Wolff and Alex Oris Simmons
Gonzales looked at Sylver for a while before tapping Ninetales' shoulder. Ninetales nodded and gently placed Alex's head on the pillow beside Circe. Sylver, with one hand, messed with Circe's hair, then leaned over and grabbed a lock of Alex's long hair, playing with it.
Alex continued to stare off into space, blinking his eyes slowly.

Circe didn't say anything but she stayed silent. She sighed and looked up at Gonzales and Ninetales. "I'm sorry," she said. "This is my fault."
Sachiel.
"I don't believe you!" said Sachiel. She stepped into the street and walked by the curb casually. "No police yet!"

"Why?" Ninetales asked, "How is it your fault?" He sat on the edge of the bed and stroked Alex's vivid, beautiful, long, red hair. Alex seemed so defenseless. "He's been in worse conditions, after Alec taken his body and got into a fight. Huge one. Alex was like this for nearly two years..."
Gonzales leaned against the wall, "Yeah, how is it your fault? He'll survive this. This is Alec's fault."
"Will it take two years for Daddy to get better?" Sylver said, worried. Ninetales shrugged, "That drug was meant for something like this but it had never been tested..."
Sylver didn't understand it at all, but nodded.
Sanguine laughed again and said, "If you go to jail, I'll say that I don't know you!" |

"If Alice hadn't been following me, she wouldn't have found Sylver," said Circe. "If she hadn't gotten near Sylver, Alex wouldn't have let his guard down to where Alec could take over."
Sachiel.
Sachiel got up and balanced on the curb. "If I went to jail, who would feed you? You'd starve!" Sachiel replied.

Ninetales continued to stroke Alex's hair, thinking. Sylver lifted his father's hai up to Circe's as if comparing the colors. Gonzales had nothing to say but to leave. Ninetales left after a while, probably getting himself some tea. Alex's hand twitched.
Sanguine smiled before pointing in the distance, "Is that Doctor Ninetales' house?" |

"Sylver, don't you feel tired?" asked Circe. She knew that there wasn't much more they could do for Alex. She also knew that the events from earlier probably scared the boy to death.
Sachiel.
"Mmm, probably," said Sachiel. "Go up and knock." She looked at her brother calmly. She was still walking on the curb like a child.

"Fine," Sanguine said nocking on the door. It opened to reveal a teenage Gonzales. "Sanguine!" he said, "Sachiel! Come in, come in!"
Sanguine walked in and looked around. He saw the big holein the side of the house, "What happened here?"
"Ah, nothing! Just a visitor!"
Sylver looked up at her and smiled, looking at her with childish happiness. "I guess I am, Mommy." He cuddled up to her and slept the night away.
Slowly, Alex got up and placed a hand on his head. |

"Alex, can you hear me?" asked Circe in a gentle whisper.
Sachiel
"What kind of visitor--? Nevermind, I don't want to know," said Sachiel. She shook her head, knowing not to question the immature spirit. Sachiel began to braid her hair. "How are you?" she asked Gonzales.

"Yeah, we pretty much did." Sanguine said, rolling his eyes.

"I'm so sorry," Circe said. "If I had been more careful Alice wouldn't have come and Alec wouldn't have been able to take over." Circe closed her eyes and as the tears began to fall, she opened her eyes again, looking at Sylver.
Sachiel.
"The only danger outside was a telephone pole," said Sachiel. "Other than that, everything was fine."
