Circe.
Circe took his hand and stood up before letting his hand go. She dusted herself off carefully. "Please be more careful, Master Alex. I don't want you to get hurt," said Circe. She looked around and stepped away from Alex, summoning fire. It shifted into the form of a wolf. "Seek," she muttered to it, stroking it. The wolf turned and ran off. "Found it. I found his trail."
Sachiel.
"Well, now we have nothing to worry about, Brother," said Sachiel. "Let's forget about it. Okay?"

"Y-yes." he said, mentally scolding himself. Alec just laughed at his stupidity, not letting the young looking father live it down. "Let's follow it."

Circe.
Circe led the way, following the lingering smoke of her creature. Each footstep of hers barely touched the ground. She moved gracefully and like it was daylight. She stopped beside the wolf and it vanished. "The trail ends here. That means he wasn't on foot from this point on," said Circe. "He took a car is the best bet." She looked over at Alex.
Sachiel.
"Get ready so we can go!" said Sachiel. "I'll leave without you, you know!"

Alex Oris Simmons and Sanguine Icy Wolff
A car...? "So that means that we're again in square one." he said, "It's not safe to travel any further without leads. Let's head back to the others." he suggested. He bit his bottom lip, nothing crossing his face however. He just seemed a little spaced out.
Sanguine gasped, "Oh crap, I forgot!" he said. He ran to his room and he changed into a black shirt and jeans. He also wore socks and sneakers. Then he ran to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and did his other business. He came back, panting. "Let's go!" he said going out of the door, practically running out. |

"Hey, genius, you got your charm?" asked Sachiel, putting her hands on her hips. "You know you need it with you in case we need to do a joint summon!"
Circe.
"Of course, Master Alex," said Circe, turning away from the spot. She seemed upset that they couldn't help Amy. Her hand was in a fist and her palm was bleeding slightly, but she just licked the blood off and started to head back.

Sanguine Icy Wolff and Alex Oris Simmons
Sanguine crashed into the door before he could do anything. "Ouch." Then he looked at her, "Oh right, charm thingy! Right! I forgot!"
He went back to his room and grabbed the charm, and ran back again, even more out of breath. "I... I got it!" he said, lifting it up so that she could see.
Alex sighed as he caught up with her. He saw that she licked her blood and to tell the truth, he didn't like it. It reminded him of so many things that he had done in the past that he wasn't proud of.
Alec seemed to be more alert within him, almost ready to take over when something happens and when Alex lets his guard down. Alex is oblivious to this though.
"You don't have to keep calling me master." he said after a while. |

"It's the way I was taught," said Circe softly. "It is the way I was taught by the one master at the laboratory. He told me it was fitting of a puppet to realize who is superior and who is not. He said it was proper of a lady as well."
Sachiel.
"Smooth," said Sachiel, putting her own charm in her pocket. "Perhaps we should call ahead? I don't want to bother him if he's still sleeping."

"I see, but it's no longer used in this time line. I could understand if this was the time where I was born and you were my sidekick or something but you don't have to realize who is superior or who is not." he explained, "I don't like being called Master anymore. Just call me Alex. We are equal."
Sanguine shoved the charm in his pocket also, and looked at her. He nodded, "Yeah, I would hate to drop in unannounced if he was doing something important." |

"If that is what you wish," said Circe. "It doesn't feel right to me, but I will do as you wish." She held her hand out and created a blue butterfly of fire before sending it up in the air. "It really is sad to see that butterfly fade and know that a red one won't be coming with Sivain following it."
Sachiel.
"Why don't you call? I've got to find my house keys," said Sachiel. She vanished into her room without waiting for her brother's reply.

Alex Oris Simmons, Gonzales, Sylver Simmons and Sanguine Icy Wolff
Alex didn't really respond to that, he just continued to walk calmly without saying a word. He didn't know how to respond to that.
Sanguine's hand dug into his pocket again and pulled out a white cell phone. He unlocked the phone and dialed a number. He placed the receiver on his ear as he waited for the other end to pick up.
Gonzales passed the house phone just as it rang. He picked it up, "Hellooo?" he said, "This is Taco Bell."
"Yeah, I'd like five soft tacos and five hard tacos. All with lettuce, tomatoes and unions. How much would that cost?" Sanguine replied.
"Sanguine!" Gonzales shouted, smiling happily. "How have ya been buddy? You and your sister doing good?" he said. Sanguine smiled and placed a hand on his hips. "Yeah, sis and I have been doing good." A pause.
"Really, how much would that cost?"
"I don't work in Taco Bell, I'm at Ninetales' house. He is sleeping at the moment but he should be awake pretty soon. Amy came here not too long ago. He left unfortunately."
"Aww," Sanguine whined, "Why?"
"Xylon came."
"Who's Xylon?"
"Crap. Nevermind. Um, Sanguine, you're coming over here, right?" Gonzales sounded serious suddenly. Sanguine looked at the phone, a little confused, but he replaced it on his ear and answered the nature spirit that yes, he and his sister was coming over. Gonzales sighed. "I see. Just come here safe. Keep an eye out for anything suspicious."
"Alright. Bye."
"Bye, see ya here!" The call died and Sanguine looked at it. Why was he so serious all of a sudden? And who was Xylon? Well, at least they were expecting them...
Sylver tossed in his bed, his young face peaceful. He was dreaming about his mother and father and his sister. He sighed as he fell deeper into sleep. |

Circe stopped and she seemed to growl for a minute. "No," she muttered, shaking her head, she brushed past Alex, picking up her pace. Circe could smell that familiar scent, lingering and taunting her.
Sachiel.
"Is it okay for us to go over?" asked Sachiel, holding her house keys. They jingled as she twirled them around her finger.

"What is it?" Alex asked quickly, easily catching up with her. Alec within him seemed a little more restless with each step, seeming anxious about something.
Sanguine nodded, "Gonzales told us to be safe as we walked and he told us to keep an eye out." He paused and he looked at her questioningly, "Hey, do you know a person named Xylon?" |

"I smell Alice," said Circe. She had reached the house by now. If she was a cat, she would have been bristling. "It's stronger here. I'm not liking this, Alex. It's turning my blood cold." She approached the house, senses alert, but she was still quick. Nothing happened to her. Her heart sunk as she realized it would have been inside. "Damn it," she muttered.
Alice
Alice could sense Circe nearby. She sat on the side of Sylver's bed, barely touching it so the boy wouldn't realize she was there. Everything would be going to plan. She heard Circe was weaker now. She was pleased by that news.
Sachiel.
"Not personally, but I think Sivain and Mom said that name in the past," said Sachiel. "Why? Is everything okay?"

"No." he said, flat out in denial. "I'm not believing this. Sylver..." He ran inside, not even bothering to wait for anything. "Sylver!" He shouted, hoping that the boy wasn't asleep so that he could answer him. Gonzales wasn't around, so that means he either wasn't in the house, ignoring everyone, or asleep. Alex thought that the second option was more likely. Alex felt his heart race at the thought of something happening to Sylver, and his mind was set into panic.
Sanguine shook his head. "No, nothing's wrong. It just sounded familiar, that's all." He had terrible memory to begin with and was always forgetful. |

Circe and Alice.
Circe had found the room and opened the door, stumbling in. She saw Alice, sitting there and stroking Sylver's hair. "Shh, the child is sleeping, Circe," said Alice. She stopped stroking Sylver's hair and stood up, releasing a dark strand that wrapped around Circe's waist and dragged the girl closer so they were face to face. Circe could smell the lingering scent of blood on Alice.
Sachiel.
"Well, if neither of us can remember, let's forget about it!" said Sachiel. She opened the front door for her brother. "Come on!"
