He followed her, his boredom showing on his face again. He knew that Circe wouldn't say no when he mentioned how bad Amy's condition was.

Circe.
Circe pressed the button to the keys and the door opened on the jet. There were already stairs in place. She climbed up them and vanished into the cockpit. Starting the plane, she waited for Alex to enter. Her hands adjusted the headphones that she put on.

He entered. again not saying anything. He took the seat next to Circe and looked out the window. He sighed, he had always loved watching the world beneath him, but hated flying.

Circe.
Circe got the jet into the air easily. She began pressing some buttons and what-not to keep everything safe. "Are you afraid of heights, Master Alex?" she asked gently. Her eyes were focused on the sky before them. She hoped it wasn't too cloudy. It was obvious the jet was going faster than any normal jet.

He looked at her, and looked at the controls for a second. He turned his head, looking out the window again. "No." he said. "I just hate flying. I'm not scared of heights at all. If I was, I would have chopped off my wings. I just barely use them. I hate being reminded what I am."

Circe.
"What you are doesn't make you who you are," said Circe. "I'm a vampire, but it doesn't make me the person I am." She didn't look at him as she said it.

"Unrelated to topic." he said, "I just don't like flight and what I am. Simple as that." he said. Sure, call him an ass, but he really hates what he is. "Being my race is a curse." He really didn't want to go into details. It was hard for him enough to say that he hates what he is.

Circe.
"You should be thankful you're different," said Circe. "It's boring with the same old thing." She pressed a few more buttons and looked out the window. "We're making perfect timing," she added, changing the subject. "I hope I did the math right. We're going faster than we should be."

"At least we're going to possibly make it in time." he said. He said possibly because there is a chance that fate will change and make life much more difficult. He sighed, "Xylon you idiot." he muttered low, rubbing his forehead. "Shouldn't have beaten Amy like that." He looked at her his voice a little louder, "Should you tell Disparity about this? He was close to Amy too, wasn't he? Doesn't that give him the right to know?"
Honest to God, he didn't know if Disparity was as close to Amy as he used to. He don't know if Amy talks to Disparity anymore. He doubted it. Amy was good, and Disparity was his first real friend, surely they talked within the time gap, right?

Circe.
"I'll tell him," said Circe. "But he'll be stupid enough to try and hunt down Xylon himself." She pulled out a map and studied it, switching the plane to autopilot. "I mean, if you think about it, Disparity would blame himself. He promised to protect Amy right? He failed in doing so." She took out her cellphone and began to flip through her contacts on her phone.

"He still has the right to know." Alex said, sighing. He glanced at her for a second before looking out the window again. "It'll be better than not knowing that he passed away, if he passed away. It'll be a repeat of Icy's death."
He heard about it from Ninetales, and concluded that how Icy passed away was wrong. It hurted people a lot, but Alex assumed that Icy thought that keeping the illness to himself would make people worry less about him.
Oh, how wrong Icy was...

Circe.
"Yeah, I guess you're right there," said Circe. She pressed the green call button on her phone and it began ringing. A tired Disparity answered the phone. "Disparity, how fast can you get to Korea?" "Why the Hell are you in Korea?" "I'm not, but I'm heading there."
Circe explained the situation to Disparity. She sat there quietly as he responded that he'd be there shortly and he'd have Terra with him. Circe said good-bye and hung up. "He and Terra are coming," she said before putting her phone away. She put the headphones back on and the map away as well. "He's really angry at Xylon."

"Should. I'm pissed at him, Ninetales is pissed at him and Gonzales is pissed at him." he said, "I'm sure you are and Terra is too." He chuckled, "It's amazing how many hearts a kind person can touch. First Icy, now Amy."

Circe.
"Do you know if the twins know anything about Amy's condition?" asked Circe. She knew they didn't know Xylon was their father. They had been raised by their mother, then Disparity, Nori, and the others. Circe felt bad for them. The two children had done nothing wrong but they were punished anyway. "Mele didn't touch that many hearts, but she was such a kind girl. All she wanted was to make Xylon happy," Circe added softly.

"I doubt that they know Amy." he said truthfully. "It's a possibility that they do, and there's a equal chance that they don't." Shifting his leg and stretching it, he continued. "Xylon was happy until he lost his memories and reverted to the ways of old: Abusing Amy and raping him or creating sadness for others."
