Circe.
"Even though this is good-bye between Alex and I, I doubt things could have changed. Even if he were to keep living, I could never be with him and vice versa. My father would never allow it," said Circe.

Gonzales
"Screw what your father thinks! Go with what you think! Do you love Alex enough to stay with him and his son through the worst?" Gonzales shouted. He was against all of this. He didn't like it. "Do you think that when your father sees your tears, will he even have the heart to say 'No, I don't approve of you being happy'?" Gonzales growled, glaring at her. "Screw what society in your place or his place thinks. Think about your happiness, think about his because he can't think 'happy' any longer! Not with his certain doom plaguing him!" Gonzales bit his lips as he saw Sylver in the other room, making a tower out of building blocks and Ninetales helping the five year old. He made a fist with his hands, and couldn't stand the thought of the little boy suffering because of the ridiculousness. "It's heartbreaking. The kid gets to suffer like Sanguine and Sachiel. He's done nothing to deserve his father's endless sacrifice, and he doesn't even know his father is going to die."

Circe.
"It's already too late, Gonzales," said Circe softly. "There's no fixing any of this. All we can do is go ahead and fight." She looked at Sylver. "The only difference is I'll be stepping in to raise Sylver. The twins really had no parental figure. Perhaps things can be different for Sylver."

Gonzales
"How can you not cry?" he said, despair getting him. "How can you not cry at this sadness?" He bowed his head and then he crouched. His hands were fists on either side of his head and tears, big fat tears fell from his eyes. He rocked himself back and forth.
"It's depressing. I don't want another friend to be gone. I've lost so many, and I can't bear to lose Alex. I've known him for far too long. I've known him since he was a baby. I don't want him to die. He's too young. He's only about a hundred and eighty seven years old. He's too young... I should die. I should take his place. How can you not cry?"

Circe.
"I already did," said Circe softly. "I can't cry, not around Sylver. I don't want to make him worry. Alex wouldn't want that. I wish it didn't have to be this way. He can't come back, but I can. If anything, I blame Alec for this. I wish Alex didn't have to die for Alec to be sealed, but he has to. If things were different, everything would be okay, but it's not. Alex is younger than both of us and I didn't know him until 19 years ago."
Tears streaked down Circe's cheeks. She wiped them away quickly. "Come on, we can't stand here. I don't want to have to kill Alex, but I have no choice. Besides, we have to stop Xylon. For Amy's sake, Xylon has to be killed." She began to leave the house to join the others.

Gonzales
He blinked, then again. He just can't seem to see with the tears in his eyes. He sucked in a big gulp of air before exhaling it out through his nose. He tried to calm down. Gonzales wiped his tears with his arm angrily and followed Circe, looking down with a crestfallen look.

Circe, Alice, Sachiel, and Terra.
Circe exited the house and saw Alice and Terra standing there talking about something. "Oh, Circe! Lemme see your flail real quick!" said Alice. Confused, Circe approached and handed it over. She looked at Terra, the confusion lingering in her eyes. Alice handed it back a few moments later. "Thanks?" asked Circe. She didn't know how to react.
Sachiel looked around. "So, that's it? We're all ready to go?" asked the black-haired girl. She had no idea what was to be gained or lost. She only knew Xylon had to be stopped.

Ninetales Foxx, Sanguine Icy Wolff, Alex Oris Simmons, Gonzales and Sylver Simmons
"Yes," Gonzales said stiffly, looking at Alex. Alex turned away, a pang of regret hitting him. Sanguine looked at Alex, then Circe, then Gonzales, figuring out that something was going to be lost that was precious to each of them. Ninetales carried Sylver in his arms and waved at all of them at the porch. "Good luck!" Ninetales called, and Sylver looked happy too. "Good luck! Come back soon, Daddy!"
Sanguine looked at Alex, who held a locket in his hand. He turned around and placed the locket in Sylver's hand. "Keep it safe for me, will you?"
Sylver nodded, "Sure thing, Daddy! Come back when you can!"
"Please be safe," Ninetales said. Alex gave them each a sad look and turned back to the group. "I'm ready now," he said.

Alice, Circe, Terra, and Sachiel.
Circe watched Alex sadly before turning the way. "Lead the way Alice," said the girl. Alice nodded and began to run off with Terra following. Sachiel was beside Terra and Circe stayed behind them. The four girls said nothing. Circe was tempted to be up by Alice, but she stayed behind.

Alex Oris Simmons, Gonzales and Sanguine Icy Wolff
Gonzales ran, following Alice. Close behind him was Alex, and then Sanguine. Gonzales looked at Alex but stood silent. There was tension between them.

Circe and Alice.
Circe caught up to Alice. The two ran side by side, neither on panting or planning on slowing down until the next location. "It's a laboratory of some sort. See if the others know about it," said Alice. Circe nodded and slowed so she was by Alex. "Alice said it was a laboratory or something," Circe told Alex. She didn't look at him.

Alex Oris Simmons and Gonzales
"It's where he's been created." Alex said. Gonzales nodded, "Xylon was created there, and obviously he would return. That's where all of his resentment started and where all of that hate sprouted."

Circe.
"I see," said Circe gently. She sighed and looked ahead towards the others. "I really hope we can get Amy out of there safely and destroy Xylon." She didn't mention anything about Alex's end. She still didn't want to kill him.

Alex and Gonzales
"I hope the plan will work." Gonzales said. "It seems almost flawless but who knows if Xylon has a counter attack."
"...I don't care. I just want this over with. Alec is getting restless."
"Tell the ass that this is his fault." Gonzales muttered seriously. "He made you... with this fate."
"Noted." Alex said.

Circe.
"Can we change the subject, please?" asked Circe. She didn't know how much farther and just hoped Alice wasn't fooling them. Circe was uncomfortable with the thought of Alec. It was his fault Circe had to kill Alex. She hated him for that.
