"...I see..." He couldn't think, he can't bear another moment with this terrible injury. He already feel like the dead. "I know I can't sleep, but I feel faint." All of the blood loss, the wounds. Nori did a good number in beating him up, but he was able to just repel the Screen. His eyes fluttered.

The pain was agonizing. It burned throughout his body no matter what: No mattered if he was being supported by Disparity, or breathing; the pain on his side is basically killing him. Xylon willed himself to stay awake, he was sure he was growing pale.

Disparity jammed his key card into the slot and opened the door to the infirmary."You'll need a blood donation after this," said Disparity."Of course, Mele is the universal donor here and I sent her to take a nap.Damn it."He helped Xylon into the next room casually. |

"Would you like me to put you unconscious so you don't feel anything?" asked Disparity.He wanted to get this over with, but he knew he had to have Xylon on board with this and the screaming would make everything harder.Disparity didn't want Mele in here when he took the dagger out. |

Disparity injected the propofol into Xylon and helped him lay down.He realized he'd need Mele's help, but she was already there.She was careful when holding open Xylon's eye.Disparity said nothing to her as he carefully tried to take the dagger out of Xylon's eye.

Disparity
Disparity was somehow, as if by a miracle, able to get the dagger out of Xylon's eye without ripping out the eyeball itself.He set the dagger to the side."Okay Mele, he should be fine," said Disparity.Mele allowed the eye to close and she shooed Disparity away.He smiled slightly as he watched her clean and bandage his other wound.
Disparity vanished and returned with the equipment he'd need to take blood from Mele.She sat on the counter and held out her arm.Disparity took a pint of blood, no more or she'd go faint before hooking it up to the IV and putting the needle into Xylon's arm."Mele, he'll be blind in his left eye," he told the girl.Mele finished bandaging her arm."I'm not shallow, I won't ever feel different because of him losing his eyesight.," she informed Disparity.
Disparity watched the girl go then began to clean up.He wasn't sure when Xylon would come to, but he'd have to stay there for now until he regained enough blood.Disparity ran his hand through his hair as he examined the dagger.So Nori can now use daggers.I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks, he thought to himself before disposing the dagger. |

Icy
He waited for his wife to come out of their room that they share together. He thought about Nori. The boy just disappeared when when he left him on the fifth floor. How was he doing? Icy continued to ponder about that question.

Nori had stumbled into the base and sat down on the floor.He didn't bother going upstairs, but stayed on the ground floor.He winced at how badly his chest was hurting.He winced slightly in pain.
Mele
Mele looked up as Disparity exited."Mele, I have to do something.Xylon is still unconscious.Can you watch over him though?" asked Disparity.Mele stood up and nodded silently before walking into the room.She sat back on the counter and watched the unconscious Xylon silently. |
